On Thanksgiving and Gratitude
I think giving thanks or gratitude is one of the highest forms of prayer. And you don’t have to be religious or even spiritual to partake in it. Thanksgiving is a good reminder to step back and give thanks, but I think we should count our blessings and think about what we are grateful for much more often than just once a year.
Having gratitude creates a humbling, non-ego feeling within us and helps us appreciate all that we have and all that we are. That kind of appreciation creates a great feeling of abundance in our lives, and pulls us away from the feeling that something is lacking, and getting stuck in the “I’m not enough” trap.
What if everything you needed was already here for you right now? And you were perfect, whole, and complete right now? Just as you are! I think if we practice gratitude on a daily basis we will feel more like this more often.
So now would be a good time to sit down and write a gratitude list of everything you are grateful for. I like to call it a “Gratitude Abundance “ list.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I am grateful for you being in the world!

Thank you for this Rocky – I often need this reminder and found myself realizing I needed to take a step back and be grateful after my race this past weekend. I am grateful for you in my life! Beautiful picture of you! Love it.
