Day 18: What is the most embarrasing item of clothing you own?
Playing a little catchup here, (surprise surprise!), but I can’t share the most embarassing article of clothing I own. Not yet.
You see, a few weeks ago I found the PERFECT Christmas gift for a couple of my best girlfriends. Namely, this one, and this other one. So I got us all matching, ahem, outfits, and I’m saving them for Christmas. It’s burning a hole in my life to keep this amazing, once-in-a-lifetime find under wraps until then, but I’m committed to it.
So you’ll have to wait to see my most embarrassing outfit. And in the meantime, I’ll jump back to Day 15, because I’ve been feeling especially blessed in the good deeds department lately.
As you all know, Jamie and I are in the thick of building our sweat pink empire (mwahahhaa), and in the process of doing so, we’ve run up against a ton of questions that we don’t know how to answer. From legal matters to programming languages, we simply can’t know how to do everything—try as we might, there simply isn’t time to become experts on Ruby on Rails or corporate tax structures. We’re so fortunate to have a veritable army of friends and colleagues who have been unfailingly available, helpful, and kind enough to help us navigate those questions. And, along the way, they’ve challenged us to think about our work and our goals in new and different ways, forcing us out of comfort zones and encouraging us to question our assumptions.
It’s been an emotional roller coaster, at times, but mostly, it’s felt like a complete privilege to have such accomplished and willing advisers.
If you’re reading this, you know who you are.
Thank you.
